Choose one of the following themes for a presentation on your Week 4 content:

1. Changing Times: Proto-Pop and The Beats (must include either Robert Rauschenberg or Jasper Johns)

2. Andy Warhol and Pop Art (focus on Warhol OR Warhol and other Pop artists)

3. Protest Art (You may choose to focus on Civil Rights, the Vietnam War, or both)

Create 10- to 12-slldes  (including a title and reference slide) on your selected theme and upload it to the assignment link.

Create a video which describes and explains your slides.  Include the following in the video narrative for your slide contents:

1. Approximately 100 - 250 word summary of the main points listed on each slide.

2. A description and analysis of four to six artworks related to your selected theme (include an image of each artwork in your slides).

3.   A description of the subject of each artwork; what was the subject depicted by the artist?

4.   An examination of how this type of art developed; why did artists choose these subjects? To what social or cultural events were artists responding?

5.   A description of the materials, media, or techniques used by the artists; why did the artist use these materials or techniques? What is the overall effect of the artwork? 

You my use Microsoft® PowerPoint® or another presentation tool.

Submit your assignments by uploading your video, for example to Google Drive, and sharing a link to the assignment tab.  Submit your slides directly to the assignment link.

Consider recording your video as if you were delivering the powerpoint presentation to a live audience.
