- Sell Question
Essentially the supply chain is all activities, businesses, and transactions involved from raw materials to the final product to the end-user, the customer. This includes suppliers, distribution, R&D, finance, marketing, and warehousing (Kenton, 2020; Farfan,2019). An example of this could be to make a food item, such as peanut butter, the raw material is peanuts, then it goes to a facility where it is processed, and peanut butter is made with other ingredients (other suppliers) to form the final product. Then the product needs to be put into a package (requires other suppliers of plastic containers). Then the product is ready for shipment to go to a retailer’s warehouse, where it can be shipped to a store to be put on a shelf, and a customer can make the purchase and take it home to eat.
