I selected the dental industry because that's what I work in. It's hard to say who the real leaders are in this industry because you have corporations and private dental offices. I think many private offices struggle because of the larger corporations. Most of the time, for example, Aspin Dental have multiple offices across a particular region. They can offer services cheaper, they do massive adverting and provide services like first exam and radiographs free. Private offices are finding they have to offer more services than just dentistry. Some are offering spa services, Botox, etc. I think to keep that competitive advantage they need to stand out and build a reputation of good standing in the community, honesty and quality work. I think that corporations are so busy trying to make money people feel like they are only a number sometimes, quality is lacking, and unnecessary services are recommended to make more money. A reputable, ethical standing is also very important to set oneself aside from the competition.
