Purpose

This discussion gives you the chance to introduce yourself, get to know your classmates, and "test run" discussion tools.

Directions

The Canvas Student Guide provides instructions for replying to a discussion post. Optional: Use the built-in video recorder so we can see your face and hear your voice. Just click the filmstrip icon in the reply editor. I provided my own response as an example.

For your post due by Friday at 11:59 PM of the first week:

Hit the reply button, below. Please answer the following questions:

1. Read the Discussion Rules (if you have not already done so).

2. Explain a little about yourself.

3. Have you ever taken an online course?

4. No matter what you answered to the previous question, please explain the benefits and challenges of an online class.

4. Finally, please respond to the following question: are we free? In your observation, in what ways has freedom evolved for the following: religion, gender, race, political, economic, or anything else. The video below will help you think about the concept of freedom.
